Following a 1^st Place spot in the Next Steps heats in December Natasha Hague, Billie Owen, Melissa Wall and Sara Utley were chosen to represent the Arches Partnership in the City Finals. They arrived at King Ecgberts School feeling a little bit nervous as Schools from across the City prepared to compete. Melissa was the first to compete and performed the routine with confidence and fluency. Billie followed and executed a perfect Piked Straddle Jump. Natasha then amazed us with her flexibility and control on the trampoline with the highest score of 8.9 and Sara followed suit with a perfect Seat Landing.

The pressure continued when student performed set skills to be scrutinized by the judges. Melissa took to the bed first and secured an average score of 7.3, Natasha scored 8.9, Billie, 7.1 and Sara 7.9. These fantastic scores were added to those of the routine and Parkwood Academy came 4^th Overall!
