MUSIC extra Curricula activities, lessons and clubs.

There are many ways to get involved in music in Parkwood academy. There a number of instrumental lesson on offer by professional musicians who come into school to teach individual lessons. Instruments include: Drums, Guitar, Flute and Clarinet, Singing, Piano and Violin. If you are interested in learning to play any of these instruments see Mr Jones in the music room for details.

There are also lots of musical activities that happen in school at lunch times and after school.

On Tuesdays after school there is a Rock Band rehearsal. Anyone wishing to form a band should go to the music room and talk to Mr Jones on this night.  

On Wednesday lunch time there is a Samba Band rehearsal for any dedicated drummers who would like to join in this lively band and play concerts for all occasions, see Mr Jones on Wednesday lunchtime in the music room.

Also on Wednesdays straight after school Mr Jones runs a Music club. This is for anyone wishing to play instruments or form a group. Activities include: Violin lessons, learning to play the keyboards, drumming and composing music etc.
